I wanted to point out an interesting article in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel on atheist groups. It includes interviews with leaders of freethought groups and organizations, like the FFRF, who all note the same trend: a large uptick in the numbers.
In politics-religion news, did anyone see the editorial column, "Suckers" in today's Alligator? Read it. It basically echoes something most of us already know -- that politics and religion make for strange bedfellows, as I've been writing about.
